ACER Empowering Technology pop up on my screen is very frequent causing a lot of clumsy disturbance to viewing the data. Can a suggestion be given to get out of it?
Why does the logo for Empowering Technology pop up on my screen, at least, 50 times a session? It's blocking me from seeing the screen and impossible to remove. I don't want it, I have never asked for it and it is driving me nuts.
Please get rid of it.
Just received the Maptitude 6.0 software and while installing, DVD 3 would not upload and asked if you wanted to skip. So, I skipped. Now while trying to map a project, the streets are not accessible. They do not have 24-7 techical support, only normal week day work hours so I sure do hope they can help me Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. Other than that "minor technicality" I like the software so far.
This update requires you to buy the next version of the product. HP provides version 7.x for free and you can get updates from the Cyberlink support page.
I upgraded my Aspire X1300 from Vista to Windows 7 and I lost my empowering technology software in the process.
I found the PSD application most handy and used it quite a lot to keep my important documents, I need it back. Where can I find this download?
I purchased Acer Travelmate 5612 about 3 years ago and it was loaded with Acer empowerment Technology; it worked alright until the last few months. since then any time I turn on my computer I get the message "The application failed to initialize properly (0c0000135). Click on OK to terminate the aplication". I find also that my computer battery runs down almost immediately if I do not plug in the computer to an external electric power source. Not being a computer buff, I find it very annoying when I cannot use the computer away from the wall plug.
